Bill and Nora first met in 1924 and courted for many years before they married on 18th June 1938 George Wassell was best man at their wedding and his firm Wassell Brothers built the house.
Bill & Nora, Old Swinford Church For years before they married Perrins Lane had been a part of a walk around the area taken by Bill and his friends on a Sunday and this would have influenced the decision years later to build a house there. |
